Terrell Mill Estates Car Club 2023 Fall Event on Oct. 22nd
1373 Timberland Dr., home of Bill & Carol Cartus Exotic cars, old cars, unusual cars, sporty cars, fun cars! Whether you have a car or not, EVERYONE is welcome, especially NEW Terrell Mill Estates residents to see what’s hiding in the garages of their neighbors! Bill has lots of room in his large driveway and will mark off some angled spaces on the street (unless it rains). Bill Cartus started the club and organizes several get togethers a year. Email Bill to be notified when events are scheduled. Check out the photos below from club events.
"Ladies Who Lunch" Paused for Paula
Paula started the group as a fun way to meet neighbors over lunch at local restaurants. Sadly, she lost a long battle with cancer in the Spring. Her many friends continue to think of Paula and her husband Gary. The group needs a new guiding light, so if you might be interested, email Kim Kenley, who has stepped in temporarily.
Garden Club on hiatus.
The Terrell Mill Estates Garden Club is on hiatus and in need of someone to take it over from Jean Caruso, who started the club several years ago. It has been an informal group of neighbors with garden knowledge that ranges from beginner to experienced. If you think you might have an interest in taking the baton, email Bruce.
Thanks to Kim and David Kenley for their summer Deck Togethers!
If you dropped by one of the three Friday night Deck Togethers, you know how enjoyable they were. It all began as a party in 2022 to celebrate the Kenley’s ivy-eating herd of goats. The party was such a hit, it grew into a summer tradition. Over the three gatherings in 2023, we probably had a third of all our homeowners get acquainted. Thanks again Kim and David!
Halloween Party Another Monster Success!
The fantastic party somehow gets even better each year! Since 2015, the neighborhood's Halloween Party has been hosted by Michael Akers and Tum Tunthatakas, who create a new and fantastic Halloween wonderland every year. The fun starts at 5:00 as TME kids, parents and friends gather for pizza. At 6:00, parents take the kids Trick or Treating on a manageable route that includes parts of Brookview, Pebble Creek, and Beechwood. Below is a Halloween album.
